2 White and 1 Blue Dress

Story behind the pictures: My sister Jenny called up my mom one day and was upset that her baptism dress was blue (instead of white) and now the poem "3 White Dresses" doesn't apply to her. Ha. Ha. So one day while we were at her house, she brought it down to show us. While nobody was looking, I went into the bathroom and put it on, and I came out looking like this....

On May 28th, our long-time friends, the Hessings, came to visit us. It was sooo much fun. We did all the thing girls do best... Layed by the pool, had girl-talk, and of course SHOPPING! It was so fun to talk about all the good times that we have had together. Hopefully this will become a tradition and we will get to see them more often! :)

Easter

Man, I'm really bad at this blogging thing...I'm just now posting pics of Easter. Ha. Ha. We had such a great time! It was so fun to spend the day with the whole family...We ate dinner and then went to the park! It was very enjoyable. Here's some pics of our fun day. :)

Dance!

So I'm working here at the library on a Saturday morning, and I don't have a whole lot to do. So I start looking up videos on you tube...and of coarse I start looking up ballroom dancing videos. Then I got to thinking of how much I would LOVE to dance! I have only been in one competition, but I loved every minute of it. (We probably could have done a lot better if we practiced more than six times. Ha. Ha.) I just LOVE dancing! I can't wait to dance with my best friend when I go back to school at BYU-Idaho. Someday I hope to dance like Julianne Hough...She's AMAZING. I don't think I will ever be as good as her, but hey, why not try? :) That's all. I need to get back to work. :)

Cute Nails

My sister-in-law, Jenni, asked me to come over to her house so that she could do my nails. My immediate response was YES!!! They turned out so cute...she put a little tint of green sparkle on them (for St. Patrick's Day) and I think they turned out awesome! She just recently got a job at a new salon called CARDONI'S. It's located on Higley and Guadalupe...so if you want to have her do your nails, call Cardoni's and ask for Jenni Russell! Thanks Jen! You do such a GREAT job everytime! :)

Update...

Well, it's been awhile since the last time I posted so I thought I would just do a quick update. I got my letter from BYU-Idaho stating that I will start school in September on the Fall/Winter track. I'm kind of bummed because I wanted to go in the summer whe the weather was nice, but now I have to deal with the freezing cold. Ha. Ha. But other than that, I'm really excited to be going back to school!

As for my primary class....it's going great! I LOVE being in primary! (Ask me in about a month or two and we'll see if my answer is the same. Ha. Ha.) I teach the 7 yr. olds turning 8 and I love them. Sure they are loud and noisy, but that's what kids do!

Other than that, nothing is really new. My grandparents are in town for the next week. They came down for the Arizona Senior Olympics. (Hee. Hee.) So they are staying with us for the next week or so. I hope all of you are doing well!

Back to School!

It's official! I applied back to BYU-Idaho just a couple of weeks ago, and I got accepted! I went there for 2 years after I graduated high school and I LOVED it! I love the environment, I love the campus, I love the people, I love the teachers... I love everything about it! :) I'm so excited to be going back! I'm not sure when I'm going yet... But hopefully it's soon!
